Welcoming Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS) to the Larita Family

We’re proud to welcome Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS) as a new partner for 2026.
MITS provides a home away from home for Indigenous students from remote and regional communities, supporting their transition to Melbourne for education and personal growth. Through mentoring and strong cultural connection, MITS helps students thrive academically and personally as they pursue their goals.
Edward Tudor, CEO of MITS, shared:
“I am pleased to partner with the Larita Academy, because the beliefs of the Academy go to the heart of the MITS opportunity that our students and families choose when they come to Melbourne. We believe that ‘you can’t be what you can’t see’, we believe in the power of positive role modelling, and we believe in personal agency for our students. Through the Larita Academy, our students will continue to experience the transformational power of these things, leading to brilliant futures.”
Together, MITS and Larita Academy will help students build confidence, explore career pathways, and connect with leaders who model what’s possible. Edward joins our Advisory Working Group, bringing valuable insight into education, inclusion, and cultural connection.
Welcome to the Larita family, MITS.
