We’re thrilled to welcome Big Brothers Big Sisters Australia as a new partner of Larita Academy.

Mark Watt AM, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters, shared:

“I am pleased to partner with Larita Academy we genuinely believe that the opportunity for our young people to be part of the Larita Academy will change their lives, opening doors they never imagined possible, inspiring them to dream bigger, building meaningful connections and giving them the confidence, hope and belief that their future can be extraordinary.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters provides long-term, one-to-one mentoring for young people. Their work is grounded in evidence that a consistent, trusted relationship can change the course of a young person’s life. That belief sits very close to Larita Academy’s mission to give at-risk young people the skills, networks and confidence to shape their own futures.

Through this partnership, young people supported by Big Brothers Big Sisters and attending Larita Academy will have access to entrepreneurial learning, personal development and pathways to employment, and they’ll join a community of people who believe in what they can achieve.

We’re also very glad to welcome Mark to our Advisory Working Group. He brings the perspective of an organisation that has built its work around long-term mentoring, which will help shape how we support the young people who come through the program.
