Celebrating our Coach of the Year: Vincent Fantauzzo

At Larita Academy, our young people choose Coach of the Year. They vote for the person who saw them, backed them and inspired belief. In 2025, they chose Vincent Fantauzzo.

Vincent is one of Australia’s most celebrated artists, with portraits of icons and multiple Archibald People’s Choice Awards. But what makes his story powerful is where he started. He left school at 14 unable to read or write. Life was tough, but he never stopped showing up and working toward a future he believed in.

That honesty connected him deeply with our Class of 2025. He shared the real story behind his success and how resilience and effort can turn struggle into possibility.

Vincent gives with heart. He listens. He celebrates every win like it is his own. As one of our graduates shared, “He made me feel like my story matters.”
