A special shout-out to Shannon Roberts, named Larita Academy Support Crew Member of 2025.

Shannon’s commitment to the Academy goes beyond showing up. It includes undertaking Larita EmPath™ training, equipping him with the tools to support young people at risk in a way that is safe, consistent and grounded in understanding.

That preparation matters. It helps ensure our graduates are surrounded by our crew and they know how to hold space, respond with care, and create environments where young people can step forward with confidence.

Support Crew roles are not small roles. They require time, emotional intelligence and a genuine commitment to young people. Shannon embodies all of this, and his contribution over the last 3 Academies has had a lasting impact on the Larita experience.
