A huge thank you to everyone who joined our online scholarship briefing.

Having more than 70 people from 12 youth partner organisations in the room shows the strong collective belief we share in young people and their potential.

Hearing from Samatar Ali and Harley, along with Trent Miller from Youth Projects and Sharon Schofield from Youth Insearch, reminded us of the talent, courage and determination young people bring when the right support is in place.

Harley, graduate of Class of 2024 share with the group:

“Just being in the room and being explicitly welcome into the Larita space was a big game changer for me. I am a lot more comfortable talking to people with a lot more experience and ability in the world than I would say I have right now or have had, and it's made me a lot more comfortable to kind of grow out of that feeling.”

We are now entering an exciting phase: scholarship preparation.

By encouraging young people to apply and helping them feel confident and prepared, we are all opening a pathway for them to step into new opportunities and possibilities at the 2026 Academy.
