Samantha MacRae is an experienced CEO and Board Director with more than 20 years of diverse, international leadership spanning healthcare, education, and nonprofit sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of Skyline Education Foundation Australia, Samantha leads evidence-driven programs supporting academically high-ability youth facing financials and social adversity to complete VCE, and unlock long-term opportunities.
Samantha’s career is marked by senior C-suite roles, directorships with member and sector organisations, and a proven track record in spearheading business start-ups and successful fundraising initiatives. Before joining Skyline, she was CEO of Keystone Radiology and a Board Director of the Australian Diagnostic Imaging Association. Her background includes extensive work in gifted education, particularly supporting high-achieving students with specific learning disabilities, as well as strategic partnership development, policy advocacy, and sector research.
Samantha holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from The University of Sydney, postgraduate credentials in management, education, and finance, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). She is deeply committed to removing systemic barriers to enable equitable access to educational pathways where all can thrive.
