Robert is a dedicated community leader with extensive experience in youth services, operations management, and strategic safeguarding.

As the Coordinator of the Youth and Middle Years Unit at Yarra City Council, he leads a team in developing and delivering vital programs for young people aged 8-25.

Robert’s work spans critical areas including the arts, youth justice, drug and alcohol support, employment pathways, and leadership development, demonstrating his holistic approach to youth empowerment. His passion for creating safe environments for young people is backed by deep practical expertise, having served as Yarra's Senior Advisor for Safeguarding Children and Young People. In this role, he led the implementation of the Victorian Child Safe Standards, building a strong culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

His leadership in the community sector is built on a robust foundation in operations and management, including roles as an Operations Manager at G8 Education Ltd and as a Centre Director. Robert holds a Graduate Certificate of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business and an Advanced Diploma of Children's Services, blending his on-the-ground expertise in youth work with a strategic understanding of organisational governance.
