“I'm pleased to be a coach at Larita because I want the young group to understand that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.”

Growing up in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Daniel Bartalotta spent much of his childhood in his parents’ bakery, developing an appreciation for baking. Leaving school at the start of Year 10, he went straight into the family business at Brumby’s Bakery, working night shifts to keep things running when staff were short.

With a natural knack for innovation and a drive to grow sales, Daniel quickly made an impact, experimenting with new products that kept customers coming back. After years of dedication to the bakery, he decided to take a big step and sell the business to pursue something new.

In 2016, Daniel opened Daniel’s Donuts in Melbourne’s southeast—a 24/7 donut shop that quickly became a destination. It wasn’t long before queues stretched through the car park, with thousands of fresh, hot donuts selling daily. As the brand’s popularity soared, he expanded to approximately 15 stores before partnering with the LK Group to take things to the next level.

Today, Daniel’s Donuts has grown to over 30 stores in Victoria and is now expanding interstate, bringing its famous donuts to even more people across Australia.
