Graduate Profile: AJ’S Journey From Confidence to Action
AJ, a graduate of Larita Academy’s Class of ’24, walked in not knowing what to expect. Three days later, he walked away with new perspectives, powerful lessons, and a shift in how he saw himself.
Before Larita Academy, AJ’s routine was simple - work, gym, sleep - mostly alone. Confidence wasn’t his strong suit, and speaking up didn’t come easy. But through teamwork exercises, inspiring speakers, and real conversations, that changed. “The way they welcome you is unbelievable. You feel like you’ve known them for years,” he says.
His biggest turning point came from a single piece of advice: “Find your tribe.” It made him rethink connections and step beyond his comfort zone. Instead of settling for what he knew, AJ took a leap - becoming a swimming instructor.
