Andrew Binns is CEO of Australian Communities Foundation and has more than 15 years of experience in program development and management, business development and fundraising across areas including international development, land administration, food security and climate change.

He has spent the past 15 years at World Vision Australia, Australia’s largest international aid and development organisation, working alongside communities, donors, partners and governments to create opportunities for children and their families to change their own futures. He held senior and technical roles, including five years as part of the executive team, that provided direction and oversight to multi-disciplinary teams accountable for fundraising, thought leadership and impact measurement.

He has provided technical advice and support in the management and implementation of programs across Africa, Asia and the Pacific, as well as developing and negotiating finance for programs, including several carbon projects registered under the UNFCCC and Gold Standard Foundation.

Andrew holds a Master of Geomatic Engineering Degree focused on Land Administration from the University of Melbourne.
