Amy Marshall
"I had such a rewarding, yet sometimes challenging experience at the first Larita Academy. I’m excited to bring my knowledge and reflections back to the ongoing development of Larita and contribute as a member of the Advisory Working Group."

Amy spent her early twenties travelling and living overseas, and test driving a variety of jobs in between. In 2009 she studied her Certificate IV of Youth Work at Box Hill TAFE, as a way to explore work in community services.
On completion of her studies, Amy spent an extensive period with the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, working in the Secure Welfare Service. Working in this high-risk environment with Victoria’s most vulnerable youth enabled Amy to develop enhanced intuition of ‘what works’ to support young people at risk.
In 2018 Amy joined Whitelion to pursue her passion for designing and implementing innovative programs, including the Y4Y Youth Force pilot program, which was awarded the Victorian Premier’s Good Design Award for Social Impact 2020. She also led Whitelion’s Pathways to Work projects, which in 2021, included the inaugural Larita Academy in partnership with the LK Group.
A Youth Worker at heart, Amy is now at EACH, a community health organisation, to provide inclusive youth services, in partnership with local government, Amy is using the experience from her previous roles to support young people in the local community she grew up in.
