Peter has more than 20 years of executive and board experience, including as CEO of South East Community Links and previously CEO of Good Shepherd Microfinance and as General Manager, Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. Peter is past President of the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS), having served on the Board from 2015 to 2022. He has studied finances and strategy at Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School and Melbourne Business School and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

With peak body and cross-sector experience with social justice values and commercial acumen, Peter is a strategic thinker with extensive networks and a track record of building strong connected organisations. Risk astute with Chair & Treasury responsibility whilst at ACOSS and Community Sector Banking. He has successfully negotiated and implemented over $300 million of funding for social impact across Australia and NZ.
