Founder - Wall Street

Leah Akoka founded Wall Street in 2001 as the people side of Dodo Internet. She helped Larry Kestelman (founder of Dodo) build a solid and successful business with a team culture that saw it grow from a start-up to a company with a varied service offering and over 500,000 clients.
As a Master Practitioner in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) with avid interest and passion in Behavioural Economics, Leah evolved the business to become a leading Human Resource supplier, with clients across more than 15 industries.
Leah has spent the last few years developing an HR Framework that represents her unique selling proposition. PeopleEconomics® is a 12 point framework that captures the effects of psychological, cognitive, emotional, cultural, and workplace factors that impact the mindset & decisions of individuals and business leaders; and, ultimately, the performance of the business. This year Leah will focus on commercialising and marketing the framework as a stand-alone product.
Driven by her belief that every person is capable of greatness, Leah knows that the success of any business is dependent on their people. Her role is to ensure Wall Street helps its clients to give their people the confidence and reason to succeed.
As a devoted wife and mother of three, Leah has always believed that a woman shouldn't have to choose between career and family. Gratitude, hard work, and a positive mindset are the formula she has followed in her work and personal life.
