General Manager - First Ever

Zach took over the role of GM at First Ever in December 2019 after previously working as the Licensing Manager for the 16 months prior, when First Ever was in its infancy. 

A challenging time for all professional and social sport during the pandemic, First Ever has gone from strength to strength, with overall profitability increasing significantly from the previous financial year. Zach has ensured success through a clear focus on business competencies and core roots in sports performance. 

Zach also oversees the business operations of another LK Group company - Vamos International, a sublimation factory located on the Gold Coast that is one of the key manufacturers for the NBL program (and other external clients). 

Zach has extensive experience working in sports admin, apparel, manufacturing, licensing and various operational functions since finishing his MBA from Deakin University in 2013. Sport is one of his passions. In addition to his full-time roles, Zach has also previously volunteered with Special Olympics Victoria, helping operationally on event day for those with an intellectual disability to reach their personal best through regular sport and competition.

Having worked in both large scale and small operating teams, Zach knows what it takes in business to make things happen with a strong belief that communication (particularly listening) and collaboration are key pillars of any successful project.
