Founder and Managing Director

Anita Pahor is a social impact leader, creative, and advocate for equity. She is the Founder and Managing Director of Larita Academy, an intensive training program in Victoria that empowers at-risk young people through entrepreneurial drive, employment pathways, and positive community connections. She is also the Owner and Director of Mind Your Monkey Psychology, a practice dedicated to supporting mental wellbeing.

During her decade at the Australian Red Cross, Anita led content creation for the brand and was then appointed to lead the organisation's female philanthropy portfolio. Under her leadership and vision, the Society of Women Leaders expanded into the largest female giving circle in Australia, dedicated to supporting the humanitarian mandate of the Red Cross. Through her strategic direction as Chair, the giving circle grew its reach, engagement, governance, and impact, further strengthening its role in advancing vital humanitarian initiatives domestically and abroad.

With a deep commitment to corporate social responsibility, Anita has served as Philanthropy & CSR Director at LK Group since 2018, leading the group's social impact initiatives. Anita has contributed to diversity and inclusion efforts as an active member of the National Basketball League's Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group since 2020. She also consults with organisations on diversity, inclusion, and corporate social responsibility, helping to create more inclusive workplaces and communities.

Her earlier career includes leadership roles in philanthropy and international development, including as Director of Marketing & Donor Services at Opportunity International Australia where she engaged hundreds of Australian women in global poverty solutions with a focus on India and the Philippines. Before that, she spent nearly a decade in the renewable energy sector as Senior Vice President at Energy Developments, overseeing HR, health & safety, and compliance programs across the United States, UK, and Australia.

Anita's career is defined by her dedication to driving systemic change, fostering economic empowerment, and championing opportunities that create lasting social impact.
